Artist's Description
This piece is all about light for me. The goat is seen in the last light of the day standing on a ridge and only the light seems to reveal him from his monotone background. I was not sure in the moment what was more impressive: the agility of the mountain goat, his confident stance and movements or the beauty of the last light dancing on the rocks and revealing the form that was almost washed away in the previously nondescript cliff side.

For over twenty years she has been creating beautiful pieces in both oils and pencil. An Albertan, Tammy's art often portrays wildlife, agricultural scenes, domestic livestock and children at play.
